Civil War diaries of Corporal John W. Griffith, serving the 32nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry, Company G. Diary pages are headed with the current "station." Includes description of Vicksburg, and "general description taken from last year's diary" in the 1863 diary memoranda section. 1864 diary includes account of stay at a hospital in Marietta, Ga. after receiving a head wound in battle just outside of Atlanta.
